Here is a direct link to the site to compare travel insurance providers. We have used these providers at least 5 times now and the policies have the high limits that Forbes recommends for medical treatment (primary meaning you file with them first) (250k+) and medical evacuation (250k – 500k). Browse any cruise group for a while and you’ll run across stories of being airlifted from Macchu Picchu, etc that will curl your hair (example: private heli evac, 35k USD cash, that you file a claim for later, read that again, later). These limits make sense to me as one of my family members incurred a half million dollar bill for a stroke that involved a heli flight. For those of you of a certain age, these travel policies are a must.
